Indigenous Literacy Day

Join David Malouf, ILP Ambassador and Debra Dank, Literacy Development Facilitator, The Fred Hollows Foundation, as they discuss how we can effectively address literacy issues in remote Indigenous communities. Debra Dank, an Indigenous woman from the Barkly Tablelands, grew up on remote cattle stations in the Northern Territory and western Queensland. With over 20 years experience in education, Debra talks about why the Indigenous Literacy Project is starting to make a difference in Indigenous communities.

The Indigenous Literacy Project is a national initiative of The Australian Book Industry in partnership with The Fred Hollows Foundation.
