We had a fabulous weekend on Tamborine Mountain. Peter Carnavas was in fine form as his latest picture book
The Important Things was launched. Peter demonstrated his artistic talents by drawing characters from his book using his 'important thing', his pencil. He has kept the pencil he used to draw the illustrations for his very first picture book, Jessica’s Box.
Janene and Mary from Marks and Gardner Gallery were so supportive and had organised a quiz and treasure hunt for the kids.They had even placed characters and 'important things' from Peter's books for the children to find.
A big thank you to Janene and Mary for making it such a memorable event.
